Daljeet has a double Master’s degree in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College of London (with a full Scholarship granted by Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) and Environmental Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. She has worked as a qualified planner and an architect for a decade at various positions and roles. Her core areas of expertise include project management, environmental and social assessment, climate change adaptation and mitigation, urban planning, policy analysis, documentation, infrastructure design and development, and contract management.
Recently, she has worked on a DFID funded Knowledge Partnership Programme (KPP) which produced and disseminated high quality research and analysis products in the areas of Resource Scarcity, Food Security, Climate Change, Trade & Investment, Health, Gender, Governance and Education. Over the years, Daljeet has gained extensive experience of liaising with urban local bodies, government authorities, Multi-lateral/Bilateral donors, NGOs and Private Sector, etc., after independently working and managing different projects for various states in India, countries in Africa and South Asia.
