About the book :

This health intervention based on Public- Private
Partnership model aims to provide quality dialysis
services to patients suffering from renal diseases
in the State of Bihar. Particularly, the PPP model
ensures that the cost of dialysis treatment is
reduced and quality facilities are set up closer to
the residences of patients for them to continue
treatment. Currently, as many as 64 dialysis
machines are operational across the State of Bihar.
The intervention has yielded positive results and
regenerated enthusiasm among stakeholders for
wider adoption of the PPP model in the health sector
and others.
